Jacqueline Zeman, Nurse Poppy at Basic Hospital, dies at 70

Jacqueline Lee Zeman was born on March 3, 1953, in Englewood, NJ, and raised in Bergenfield. She was the eldest of three daughters born to Richard Zeeman, an engineer at IBM, and Rita (Dohart) Zeeman Ruhlmann, who labored at Scholastic journal.

Cassidy Z. MacLeod, considered one of Mrs. Zeeman’s two daughters, stated she started coaching in ballet on the age of 5. When she was fifteen, Ms. MacLeod stated, she moved to New York Metropolis to pursue dance and attended New York College for a quick interval. She was solid as Lana McLain in 1976’s “One Life to Stay,” till her transition to “Basic Hospital” in 1977.

Along with Mrs. MacLeod and Lacey Rose Jordan, one other daughter she had together with her third husband, Glenn Gordon (divorced in 2007), Mrs. Zeeman is survived by two sisters, Lauren Fichte and Carol Culp, and two grandchildren.

In April, “Basic Hospital” celebrated its sixtieth anniversary on the air. Mrs Macleod stated considered one of her mom’s final appearances was on Nurse’s Ball present in April.
